How does someone get started working with you?
Our first session will be a postural and breath assessment followed by a round of questions. After that, I will give you a practice to work with for your specific needs.
Where are in-person classes located?
In-person classes are offered at Sukha yoga in Tarrytown.
I have_______ injury. Can this still work for me?
Yes! I am meeting you where you are. All injuries will be discussed thoroughly and considered in developing a therapeutic approach to your practice. Private sessions are a wonderful way to learn adjustments and boost confidence in doing yoga in spite of pain or injuries.
Who are your courses for?
Currently, our virtual courses are geared toward adults and kids ages 3-11. They are for anyone who wants to learn more about the practice and philosophy of yoga and have fun while doing so.
I’m a total yoga beginner, and I’m not flexible is this for me?
The only flexible thing required for yoga is a flexible mind. These sessions are suitable for all levels. I will meet you where you are. Anyone and everyone can benefit in some way.
